INTERPRETING

What if you had an interpreter by your side to facilitate your commercial negotiations? What if during a training session, one of the contributors prefers to speak in his or her own language? What if you would like to organise a factory visit for your foreign suppliers or clients or if you would like some assistance for a telephone conference with a contact abroad? There are so many situations in which an interpreter can improve communication, and even open up markets so that language is no longer a barrier to your exchanges.
You provide us with all the logistical details about your event, and we take charge of the rest! Starting by advising you on the type of interpreting we recommend (liaison, simultaneous, whispered, consecutive, etc.), the number of interpreters necessary for each language combination, the equipment needed … through to the provision and installation of the equipment: you decide, we provide!

INTERPRETING

  • Conference interpreters generally work in a soundproof booth and interpret the discussion directly as it goes along.
  • When the discussion involves several speakers, two or more interpreters are necessary.
  • In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter waits for the speaker to pause before interpreting what has been said.
  • For escort interpreting, regular breaks will be necessary to guarantee the interpreter’s optimum concentration.
  • In noisy situations such as factory visits, a microphone for the interpreter and headsets for the listeners will ensure better communication and a more comfortable experience for all concerned.
